22 June National Holiday Eve
16:00 Changing of the guards at the Grand-Ducal Palace. The army presents a military spectacle in front of Grand Ducal Place with the official changing of the guard. At 16:10 Grand Duke and Grand Duchess and the royal family will make a public appearance on the balcony of the Palace.
– 21:20 Torchlight Procession – parade with firefighters, local associations, guides and scout. Starts at Puits Rouge up to the Palace where the Grand Duke will salute the participants.
– 23:00 Fireworks – the best point to see them is at the Gella Fra
23 June National Holiday
National holiday: On 23 June the people of Luxembourg have a public holiday to celebrate the Grand Duke’s birthday. This national holiday is celebrated with lots of official events, parties and games for children and several concerts in the evening.
10:00 Official Ceremony – will be held at the Philharmonie this year with guetss like members of the Parliament, local authorities, etc…Everyone may apply for tickets at www.government.lu
11:00 Gun Salute. A 21-gun salute fired from Fetschenhof.
11.30 Military Parade. The security forces will march in their ceremonial uniforms. Grand Duke Henri will preside over the former salute from a podium.
16:30 Te Deum – a religious service at the Cathedral of Luxembourg. The Grand Ducal Family, politicians and civil servants, selected members of society and diplomats will head to the Cathedral Te Deum for solemn religious service.

Spillfest – Games for the Whole Family at “Kinnekswiss”
Part of the “Kinnekswiss” municipal park will be transformed into a world full of creative workshops and games for children and adults.

Open Air Konstfestival
Lellingen, a wonderful little village, turns once a year into a vivid and colorful open-air art gallery. Known beyond the borders of the Grand Duchy, the festival attracts over 4,500 visitors per year. Artists create their works on site, musicians, workshops for children and a varied entertainment promise a day full of surprises.

Each class is alive with magical journeys where we meet with animals, fly an airplane or drive a car, grow into a tree or imitate the ocean waves, all in the form of dynamic yoga poses. Pre-teen Yoga (10-13 yrs)
Expanding minds and maturing bodies come together through independent and group activities that stimulate preteens’ physical strength, emotional balance and self-confidence. Classes integrate traditional yoga poses, flowing sequences, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self-reflection. This course will also give them some tools for dealing with their everyday tasks in a more relaxing way, make them feel empowered and more confident with their bodies, stimulate their imagination, raise their awareness on peace and treating their body gently… all the while having fun and helping them find their own way towards stillness :-). This class is taught in English but French translation is possible.
