The 70’s disco boom saw the rise of the Roller Disco. It became a phenomenon where people would come skate, dance and steal roller kisses. Medieval festival in Vianden
This year’s mediaeval festival offers a varied and spectacular program. Mill Festival ‘From grain to bread’
The watermill in Enscherange, popularly called “Äischer Millen” or, Rackésmillen ‘, was built in 1824 and is still be used today to mill Luxembourgish flour. Discover it on this open day with guided tours of the mill, carriage rides with Ardennes horses, explanations of Luxembourg cereals and grains, pizza and bread baking, boat-making and races, group games and much more.

Schueberfouer – 23 August – 11 Sept
The Schueberfouer, funfair of the city of Luxembourg, is the biggest funfair in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Come and experience around 200 attractions, amongst which 25 rides, over 12 kiddy rides, entertainment games, a dozen restaurants, numerous snacks and take-outs, etc. from over 6 different nations. Kids Run – Yuppi-Mini-Kulturlaf (Booking required)
Yuppi Mini-run (500m or 1km) for kids as well as sports workshops for kids until 12h. You do not have to be registered with a sports club to participate. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race so that you can warm up. In your first participation you will receive a passport. For each run you get a stamp on your passport. Bee Trail – Kids Learn Why Bees Are Awesome
